A “civil picnic” organized by the “Center for Participation and Collaboration CPC” was held in the social space of Shekvetili.
At the meeting, issues related to the pollution of the Supsa River basin were discussed, such as: ecological threats of the Black Sea and rivers, challenges of climate change, ecofeminism and the role of the women in eco-management, municipal waste management and their harmful effects on human health and sea inhabitants.
The project “Mitigation of climate change in Guria – civil activism for clean Supsa” is being implemented within the framework of the European Union`s supported Georgian Climate Program (GEO CAP), which CENN, together with partner organizations, is implementing in four regions.
