At the meeting held in the format of “Civic Picnic”, the invited expert Vida Vrubliauskene (Lietuva) introduced an online presentation “Waste management of municipalities of southern Lietuva and examples of sustainable development projects”.
Enver Japaridze, a lawyer of the office of the Ozurgeti municipality Sakrebulo, spoke about the “measures provided by the legislation regarding climate change”.
Residents of target villages and employees of local self-governments attended the trainings of the project – “Mitigation of climate change in Guria – civil activism for clean Supsa”.
The project is being implemented within the framework of the European Union`s supported Georgian Climate Program (GEO CAP), which CENN, together with partner organizations, is implementing in four regions.
