On July 28, a “civil picnic” was held in the Ekvtime Takaishvili Archaeological Museum-Eeserve of the Guria region.

The invited mentor, Doctor of Public Administration Zurab Nasaraia spoke about the tourism potential of Guria and the importance of women’s involvement in the development of the tourism brand concept.

At the meeting, the women’s folk ensemble “Rekheuli” performed several musical compositions, which leader Fotine Gordeladze recalled about the creative achievements of the ensemble and shared with the audience the technology of making ecologically safe dolls.

Representatives of the Ozurgeti Gender Equality Council, members of the project’s initiative group and local businesswomen participated in the meeting.

The “Civic Picnic” was held in the framework of the project “Strengthening the Economic Capacities of Women of Different Nationalities in Ozurgeti – Let’s Turn Housework into a Profession”, which is implementing by the “Center for Participation and Collaboration -CPC” through financial support of EU and Women`s Fund in Georgia.
