A final forum of the project “Transparency and Accountability – for Civil Welfare” was held in the Social Cafe organized by the “Center for Participation and Collaboration -CPC”.
The purpose of the meeting was to present to the audience the products prepared within the framework of theproject, including the website, communication strategy 2023-2025 and training modules, and to hold a discussion.
The project itself was serving the institutional strengthening, transparency and increasing of accountability of the “Center for Participation and Collaboration -CPC”. All of the activities were directed to the perfection of all these aims. E.g. “The communication strategy will poster in an effective collaboration with the municipality, media, civil sector and society, but through the website CPC will give the consultations for all interested parties, especially vulnerable groups, which fostering in the engagement is one of the important priorities of the organisation” – declared invited expert Nana Vasadze.
The forum was attending by Chairman of Sakrebulo of Ozurgeti Municipality and the managers of different range of Sakrebulo, media and civil society organisations. The project was implemented by the support of Civil Society Institute (CSI) in the framework of the project “Civil Society STAR Initiative: CSOs as Sustainable, Transparent, Accountable and Resilient Development Actors in Georgia” financed by European Union and Conrad Adenauer Fond.
