On July 20 in the framework of the project „Transparency and Accountability – for civic welfare “the next working meeting o the communication group members was held.

The meeting was attending by the representatives of civil society institutions and media, which are operating in Ozurgeti municipality.

Communication consultant Fati Mamiashvili introduced the communication strategy of “Center for Participation and Collaboration CPC” to the meeting participants and emphasized the importance of such a document in the process of institutional development of CSOs.

Representatives of the non-governmental sector and the media invited to the meeting spoke about the challenges in the field of mutual cooperation and communication. According to the representatives of the media, the implementation of projects in the region in coalition and in collaboration with the media will significantly strengthen both sectors.

The meeting was attended by the representatives of ” Center for Innovation and Civic Development – Progress House”, “Student-Youth Council, “Young Pedagogues’ Union”, “Georgian Democratic Development Center” and media organizations operating in the region.

The meeting was held in the framework of the project “Civil Society STAR Initiative: CSOs as Sustainable, Transparent, Accountable and Resilient Development Actors in Georgia” financed by European Union and Conrad Adenauer Fond.
